How Big Sister Letters Works

1. You sign her up

Pick Pre-Teen (ages 9–12) or Teen (ages 13–16), use your email to create an account, and enter her name and mailing address. The whole process takes about two minutes. No app to download.

2. You get the companion email

Before her physical letter arrives, your email gets the grown-up companion: the theme of her letter, gentle conversation guidance, and tips on how to support her through the month's topic.

3. Her letter arrives

Letters are mailed during the first week of every month. Allow 3–7 business days for the envelope to land in your mailbox. Inside, she finds a thoughtful letter written for her age and stage, plus a small keepsake she can hold onto.

Monthly cycle timing

There is a 10-day cutoff before the first of the month for inclusion in the upcoming letter cycle. If you subscribe before the cutoff, she receives her welcome letter promptly and is included in the next monthly cycle. If you subscribe within 10 days of the next cycle, the welcome letter still ships promptly, but her first regular monthly letter begins in the following cycle.

What is included each month

• A supportive letter written for her age and stage
• A meaningful keepsake or small gift related to the topic
• A companion email for the grown-up before the letter arrives

Who it is for

Big Sister Letters is designed for girls ages 9–16 and the parents, guardians, or mentors who support them. Each subscription is for one recipient. If you have multiple daughters, each needs her own separate subscription.
